Susan decided not to have her own web site after all

Susan decided that it would be too much of a burden to have her own web site and to pay someone to change out her artwork in the future. Although I offered to train her to edit her own web site or to edit it for a small hourly fee when she did new work, she preferred to cancel. Should you decide to cancel after I have already done work, as Susan did, you will only be obligated to pay the cancellation fee and the contract will be terminated. You will not have the right to use the designs, but it is better to get out than to stay in something you are unhappy with. I believe Susan is still happy with me, as she smiles at me happily at our Palette Club meetings and says, "Hi!" When I client wishes to cancel, I work hard at making it a happy ending for both parties involved.

I design logos, brochures, and web sites. I have a BA in Art: Visual Communications and Design. My specialty is taking what you want to stand for, your style, your target market, and helping you to get an image that represents you just right.

My Solution for a Fine Artist Web Site

Susan Jordan is a friend of mine and a fellow member of the Palette Club of Ogden. We are a club of artists. She wanted her own 4 page fine artist web site. She needed to feel secure in knowing people would not steel her artwork from the internet.

I made sure that Susan had a good "artist's bio" and a statement about why she creates, what she creates, and how she creates her work. I gave her an Elegant font for the page title, used colors from her artwork for the page, and made sure it looked great. Each of the pieces of art on her home page lit up when the curser moved over it, so that visitors would know it was a link. The links led to pages where visitors could purchase her pieces, and see them larger. I made each of her pieces into 4 to 6 sections so that if someone tried to lift them in order to copy them, they'd have to copy each piece one at a time and would give up trying.

As I did with this client, I will pour my energies and efforts into creating for your company what will be an awesome logo, brochure, or web site, and together we'll also make sure it fits in your bugdet.
